Soccer Facts!

World Cup mania is sweeping Lawrence this summer as we host Algeria's soccer team and Kansas City participates as one of the host cities for games in the tournament. Soccer is beloved around the world, and whether you're a newcomer to the beautiful game or you're a soccer pro, there's always more to learn! This list is full of nonfiction (fact) books for kids about soccer. There are biographies of famous players, books on how the games and sprinkled throughout even some books just about the World Cup. Books on this list are best for upper elementary aged kids (approximately 3rd-5th), but can be happily browsed by younger or older readers.
