Lawrence Kid Picks: Asian-American Chapter Books

Kelly Yang, the amazing author of Front Desk, says that it's essential to share stories that humanize the Asian American experience. “We need stories that uplift, that give hope, that help others SEE US as individuals, that give kids the tools, windows and mirrors to understand, process, and ultimately create change.” Sending care out to our Asian American community. Here is a booklist to help us find stories to share and stories that heal.
