RetroActive Field Trip: Flower Arranging at Aunt B's Garden
Aunt B (Brenda Hayden) moved home to Ottawa 6 years ago expecting to teach, but the gorgeous blooms in her backyard inspired her to create Aunt B's Blossoms, a cut flower farm that provides fresh bouquets at the Ottawa Farmers Market on Saturday, from her honor-system Flower Porch during the week, and through an all-season subscription bouquet delivery service. We're invited to visit and are asked to bring a vase. We'll take a tour of her farm, pick flowers of our own choosing, learn how to arrange them, and, in her words, "have fun!" The cost is $20 per person and we are limited to 20 guests. Let's go! Registration required.
