Interested in growing native plants but confused about how? Have extra native plants and herbs you’d like to share with others? Join us for this native plant and herb swap and cold stratification demonstration with Courtney Masterson, Ecologist and Executive Director of Native Lands Restoration Collaborative.
Come at 5:30, get settled and put your things down in time to gather together for Courtney's cold stratification demo at 5:45. After the demo, you're free to start swapping!
What You Should Bring
- Native Plants in the form of seeds, seedlings, bare roots, or dug up plants
- Herbs in the form of seeds, seedlings, bare roots, or dug up plants
- An extra bucket, box, bag, or other container for collecting materials to take home
What You Should NOT Bring
- Houseplants
- Invasive plant species - think culinary mints and bush honeysuckle

To Prepare
- Label everything you bring with as much information as you can (species, origin, date collected, saved, dug up etc.)
- Help us keep the library tidy by bringing everything in a box, bag, or other container.
- Please don’t bring anything that’s super special to you if you’re not ready to part with it. If something is left on a table, we’ll assume it’s up for grabs.
