Event description

Are you or a family member interested in pursuing higher learning but concerned about the costs? We invite prospective students of all ages and walks of life to this financial aid workshop, in collaboration with Danielle Sullivan, Financial Aid Advising Supervisor at Johnson County Community College and a representative from Washburn Tech. Our expert speakers will provide essential information and resources to help you navigate the world of financial aid and explore funding options for college and vocational schools, including detailed instructions on completing the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). With an updated version of the FAFSA being released this winter, speakers will guide us through the changes, important dates, and necessary documentation needed to complete the form. Participants can stay after the presentation to gather more information from the participating schools.

The November session will focus on four-year programs and the December session will focus on Community Colleges and Technical Schools.

We invite prospective students of all ages and walks of life to this financial aid workshop, in collaboration with Danielle Sullivan, Financial Aid Advising Supervisor at Johnson County Community College and Ginger McBride, Assistant Director at Washburn University & Washburn Tech.

Need more information? Ask Liz: LStuewe@lplks.org. No registration.
