We are excited to announce the return of our 4th Annual Community Resource Fair!
We all hit bumps in the road and need help from our friends and neighbors from time to time. Knowing where to turn can make all the difference. Start your search at our 4th Annual Community Resource Fair, where dozens of organizations and services will be on-site to help you navigate challenging circumstances and connect you to critical support.
This year's fair will feature..
- Over a dozen community organizations such as Lawrence Humane Society, DCCCA, Douglas County Emergency Management, Community Children's Center, Kansas Department of Children and Families, Just Food, Lawrence Community Shelter, Heartland Community Health, and more
- Winter coats, hats, mittens, and gloves for children and adults (courtesy of the Community Children's Center, the Social Service League, and donations from community members)
- Snow and ice removal gear (supported by Cottin's Hardware)
- Free books (courtesy of the Lawrence Public Library Friends + Foundation)
- Free haircuts** (courtesy of Precision Haircuts and Styling)
**Haircuts provided at discretion of barber. Please come with clean and combed hair for best results!
