Kid President
Ages 8–12
Join us to learn about the world of politics and throw your hat in the ring to become Kid President of LPL! We’ll have local leaders join us as special guests each week. We’ll learn about notable campaigns, candidate slogans, and kids who have changed the world. We’ll also talk about creating a platform as a candidate. Kids will create a poster telling Lawrence what they stand for which will be voted on by LPL visitors. The winner will be given a budget to perform a service project in Lawrence with the Kids’ Action Club. Let the race begin!
