Join a GraceMed Health Clinic, Healthy Kansas Kids Community Outreach Representative in the Library Lobby for free and confidential KanCare enrollment assistance. Kancare is the name for the state of Kansas' Medicaid program. Kancare offers free or low-cost health insurance for low-income families with children and pregnant women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. An Outreach Representative will be available in the Library Lobby to assist families with children and pregnant women with enrollment for Medicaid/KanCare. They can help and support families with the application process (from start until a determination is made) including new applications and yearly reviews.
