JMJ. I didn't like this book. I found it disgusting and awful when the character had done the intimate act (let alone slept with the man) outside of marriage. I'm very sorry I read it. All her other novels, The Apothecary's Daughter, The Maid of Fairbourne Hall, The Painter's Daughter, The Tutor's Daughter, Secret of Pemberbrooke Park, and Lady Maybe, would all be great (I have not read The Dancing Master) if sex was not involved with most of the characters. Sex before marriage is never good if it is done between two unmarried people; it shows lust and impatience. This was a disappointment and I would not recommend anyone read it. God bless!
