Magic Tree House

A Merlin Mission. #40, Eve of the Emperor Penguin
Jan 23, 2018
In physics, I had learned that our geographic north pole is actually a magnetic south pole. This is why the north ends of a certain rock called magnetite could be used to make compasses. So, theoretically, penguins live in the (magnetic) north pole! Anyways, Jack and Annie head off to the continent they have never been on before for the first time: Antarctica! Children can learn a lot about geography and the cold climate "down there", which can pique interest in learning more about our Earth. Very interesting, to say the least. - @Siri of The Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
