This is an amazingly warm and inviting cookbook for those who love to bake and eat cookies. Sarah Kiefer's book pays tribute to the joy she has felt with baking cookies almost her whole life. I've been a cookie baker for over 50 years and looked forward to learning Sarah's new technique called "pan-banging" cookies. I wasn't disappointed! The snickerdoodles that were made with this technique were outstanding! The positive attributes of the cookbook include: thorough and easily understood directions, large color pictures, general baking tips and techniques explained in detail that are useful for both beginning and seasoned cooks, basic information on types of sweeteners, oils flours, leavening agents, equipment, and utensils, and much more. I can't wait to bake my way through this fantastic cookbook! I would rate this book the highest level of stars available.
