Gil Goodson wants out of Orchard Heights for good. He wants to move to Phoenix and escape the nasty looks and fair-weather friends that have made his life miserable since “The Incident.” Yep, Gil is ready to move on and, according to his Dad, there’s only one way to do it; enter and win the Gollywhopper Games, the annual competition sponsored by the Golly Toy & Game Company. It just so happens, however, that the Golly Toy & Game Company is the very same company that accused Gil’s dad of embezzling millions. Awkward as it may be, Gil is determined to win. In order to do this he must be able to solve riddles, perform stunts, and figure out tough puzzles. Oh, and he must beat the other 25,000 people attempting the same thing. Gil has the determination and the support of his parents but up against geniuses, athletes, and cheaters he must use everything he’s got, and that may not be enough.
