This book is not so much a story in itself as a collection of them. But while I would love another full-fledged Eragon book, I think this works. It gives us brief glimpses into the world of Alagaesia and its characters sometime after the events of Inheritance, which will always be of great interest. This book could serve as a springboard for a new series based in that world, or it could exist as its own thing. Either way it works! My only problem is that the story on Angela doesn’t actually reveal much about her. But then again, if we knew how Angela ticked, then she wouldn’t be Angela, so I, like Eragon, have some mixed feelings about that part of the book. But no matter what, long-time Inheritance fans need to read this! Ten out of ten! @R2-D2 of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
