This is one of the best of Alfred Hitchcock’s career. Robert Walker plays an incredibly evil man who entraps the naïve Farley Granger into a murder plot. You would think that with this kind of acting ability, he would have a great acting career in front of him. Unfortunately he died at age 32 from a combination of medication and alcohol while making his hext picture (they had to fudge some of the scenes to complete the picture). Look for the nifty scene where the action is shown from the reflection of a pair of sunglasses in the grass.
