Do you ever read a book, dislike it, then realize that maybe, just maybe the problem was your mood?!?!
No, just me?
Well, anyway, when I first read this book a few years ago, I must not have been paying attention. It is SO much fun. I'm listening to the audio book which is a sheer delight and I highly recommend it.
While Monty is a ridiculous and annoying character, he's so loveable that I can't help but root for the hot mess that he is. Percy and Felicity are lovely and fierce in their own ways. There's much more depth to this story than I thought there would be. Such moments of tenderness accompany some real growth. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in the lives of this trio.
