My chiropractor introduced me to Dr Fung's work and she has done extensive study of health related issues as well and she agrees with his theories and protocols. I have been doing more fasting in the last month or two 24-36 hr fasts x2 week, and have been doing intermittant fasting (15 hrs/day) for quite some time. I have diabetes and I was trying to avoid having to take insulin shots and I am happy to report that my glucose and AIC #'s have come down since increasing my fasting. His book is informative and easy to read and gives some practical tips from a variety of experts that are useful when trying to make fasting work for you.
