This is the best parenting book I've come across by far. I appreciated Medina's scientific approach, blended with humor and understanding. It was exactly what I was looking for. Concrete examples of things you should and shouldn't do to help you baby grow into the happy kind of child and adult people enjoy being around. I heard people in my PEPS group talk about the chapter on relationships and had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. Yeah, like some scientist is really going to give me profound relationship advice that I don't think I need in a book about baby brain development. Well, it was probably my favorite chapter of the whole book and I found myself in tears a few times because of just how true his words are. If you only read one book about how to raise a child, this should be it!
