I will just come out and say it. This book pissed me off. I don't offend easily and given the name of the book, I figured there would be strong language. No problem there. Then the author infused her spiritual beliefs in the universe and energy and such. Okay, no judgement from me on that. But as I mustered through the book, the racist undertones became stronger to the point that I was getting angry while reading a book that is intended to be hilarious and insightful. And if you think the audio book is any better, guess again. Behind the author's sarcasm, and Daria-like humor and tone, my frustration magnified. And to top it all off, I didn't get a single morsel of information that I could use in my daily life or business. But I did save $9.60 plus shipping and handling (thanks Charlotte Mecklenburg Library!) Since this "Best Seller" taught me nothing, might I suggest something that did, Girl Stop Apologizing, by Rachel Hollis. I've applied a number of that book's suggestions towards my personal and business life and I absolutely love it. You Are A Badass, not so much.
