Ah, and we’ve arrived to the final season of The Office. The season that was truly nostalgic and made me do a spit take so many times, I’ve lost count. Certainly, this season was much better than season seven or eight. I mean, it was almost as if Steve’s shoes had been filled… almost. But they truly were filled at the end, when he made a cameo at (spoiler alert), Dwight and Angela’s wedding. I mean, how long did we wait for this moment?! It felt like centuries, and after Angela finally telling Dwight that Philip was his son, we couldn’t be happier. I mean, what kind of kid chooses beets over everything else? But overall, a season truly to remember. The interview at the end of the series truly made it feel like a wrap on it. But it wasn’t quite the end. I mean, Pam and Jim moved, Dwight and Angela got married, Michael had to buy multiple phones to hold the pictures of his children with Holly… it was an amazing season overall. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better cast and crew to make me cry and laugh. And remember, if you’re feeling nostalgic after finishing the series (like I was), there are always the blooper reels! @thesoundofcolours of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Season 9 is actually my favourite season of the Office, which is apparently a rather uncommon opinion. However, I loved the way it explored the characters a bit more than it had before, and fully fleshed out all the characters we didn’t really know. The three accountants (Kevin, Angela, Oscar) probably had my favourite bits of character development. I loved the way they resolved the issues they had with each other, no matter how huge the issues were, and united to help each other through tough times. One of my favourite moments of the whole series was when Kevin stood up to Senator Lipton about his mistreatment of Angela and Oscar. I absolutely adored the finale, and I loved how it wrapped up all the characters’ stories and gave a few little details, like Meredith’s college degree and Oscar’s origami. It was a really nice end to one of my favourite shows. - @freckleface675 of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
