Two Mehs. Found this book to be superficial. The "Mac tips" are distracting. You would learn more from similar woodworking books or magazines such as Popular woodworking or Fine woodworking. This particular book is a bit structured like a TV show at times, where the reader follows Mac on project mini field trips, visiting old time friends and collaborators and so on.

My favourite aspect was the illustrations and plans. They look cool, with knots and grain details on 3d drawings.
