Great book.

Frank Miller has officially lost it. That he actually believed DC would let him do this story with Batman proves he's a racist, senile idiot.

Frank Miller's ill advised artistic revenge for the assassination of Theo Van Gogh. Highly stylized artwork and an almost pointless plot except to exact bloody revenge on Jihadists.

Imagine that Frank Miller decides to write a comic where Batman joins the “War on Terror.” And imagine he uses the story as a justification for torture. And imagine he’s a racist. And imagine Bush and Rumsfeld giggling gleefully while reading it. That’s a pretty good idea of what this comic is about and who it’s for. It’s got dialogue like, “There’s some killing to do” and “Torture. I’m down with that” and “So, Mohammed. Pardon me for guessing, but odds are your name is Mohammed.” I admit some of the art is cool like Miller can do but some of it’s degenerated below the level of “Dark Knight Strikes Again.” DC must have decided, wisely, not to give Miller the rights to the Batman characters for this vile, race-baiting junk so Batman doesn’t have bat ears and is called the Fixer and Cat-Woman’s not Cat-Woman and Commissioner Gordon is not Gordon and Gotham City is Empire City. The whole thing comes off like self parody. If it was meant to be, then it might have been funny but it’s not. I felt like I needed a shower after reading it.

1. lousy plot, you cansee the story from first page.
2. the art work is so
horrible you cannot make out content most of time. I'm sorry buy lines and scribbles over the main content makes it look like some kid took a pen and went upand down on the page. Just horrible.
3. The stereotyping and racism is sooo obvious.
4 don't take my word for it just crack it open at anypage and look at the mess!!
5. LOL and if DC won't buy it..that tells you a lot right there...and they buy just about anything.

This has to be an elaborate joke. Frank Miller couldn't have intended this to be read seriously.

It's an ugly story with very little to recommend.

This was originally suppossed to be "Holy Terror Batman!" but DC wouldn't allow it. Basically Batman ehh the fixer goes after Bin Laden.
