I was very disappointed with this video when I watched it with my 3 year old son. If you are a Christian parent or Sunday school teacher, I do not recommend it for teaching children about the events surrounding Jesus' birth. It seems like an overt attempt was made to remove any reference to God's role in the birth of Jesus. In this movie the angels do not visit the shepherds, Mary suggests to Joseph "I think Jesus is a nice name" and Joseph agrees, and the wise men deduce that Herod has bad intentions rather than God warning them through a dream. Also most of the characters are negative, complaining, selfish and grumpy, including the donkey and ox that appear throughout the movie. It was just not enjoyable or interesting and I didn't want my son to get false information about Jesus' birth. I had to turn it off.
