When I first started to read this book, I thought I had found a real gem of a book and author. As the book progressed, I was disappointed. The book is well written, but I found the plot to be such a letdown. Without giving any spoilers, I found that what the twins did when they discovered "THE SECRET" was appalling and violent. It bothered me a lot. After all, "THE SECRET" was not even important and they all made such a huge deal of it. And the ending was not what I would have liked. I would like to re-write the ending so that it would suit a light summer read as opposed to this ending which belongs in a very dramatic book. I will give Elin Hilderbrand one more chance and if the book is not satisfying, I will give her up.
