I also watched this out of sequence and loved it. Very well written and actors fit their characters perfectly. Storyline is very believable & the solutions that the politicians select could very well happen. I look forward to watching more of Torchwood.

Fascinating story for an alien encounter. An example where a really good script doesn't need alot of CGI to make it good entertainment.

Incentive for children to get good grades in school? Ha ha. Watch the Bonus material on the last disk to make the alien less scary for your child.

Watching Torchwood out of sequence and started with this. Understood the story regardless of sequence.

There was an earlier comment stating Disk 1 was flawed. But on my DVD player, the show only froze for about 2 secs then continued playing to the end with no further issues.

Children Of The Earth remains my most favorite of the series for it's unique alien story threat to earth.

Amazing and heartbreaking! It's too bad that CoE is only 5 episodes. Definitely left me wanting more.

This is a five part series based on the Torchwood characters from Seasons One and Two. Three members of the Cardiff Torchwood team died during the first two seasons. In order to better understand this series, one should first watch Season One and Two. This series is one continuous story as opposed to 12 individual stories in Seasons One and Two. Very entertaining science fiction
with British sensabilities.

Reaches the potential of what Torchwood -could- be. Great plot.
A logical extension/continuation of Season 2, with better character development and great backstory. Would have been nice to have the dead Torchwood members included, but it's clear that Torchwood employment is not long lived. Anxiously waiting for Season 4, whenever it happens.
