Add a CommentWhether 2 or 200, if you want a good, no-strings-attached, roar-out-loud laugh, get this book (to heck what the 'elitist crowd' thinks!) Chico`s escape is a detailed, "what's he gonna do next?" riot (beware the foibles of going barefoot in Chico`s vicinity, particularly in reach of his....) Read the book, see the pictures, and enjoy a writer who remembers children AREN`T lobotomized miniature adults. EVEN KIDS WILL LOVE IT!
My kids (5/yo boy and 2.5/yo girl) absolutely loved the tail of plucky Chico Bon Bon and his toolbelt, and I liked it too. Highly recommended for the quirky illustrations and adventurous story.
