Definitely for younger children. I borrowed it for a six year old, but found it was far too simplistic.

I think our 16-month old enjoys this book even more than "brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?" However, some of the animal noises are not your standard fare, and pretty tough to make. We've read it enough times though that I'm starting to get pretty good at my elephant sound ;-).

Fun book to read a toddler time. The children want to make the various noise that the animals hear.
