Zooom! Wooeeee . . . ! "Make way!"The big city sure is a speedy, noisy place for a country truck like Blue. Everywhere Blue looks, he sees buses, police cars, taxis, vans, a street sweeper, and even the mayor's limousine. With everyone pushing to be first, soon there's a giant traffic jam! But even a wrangle-tangle is no match for Little Blue Truck, who comes to the rescue in true Blue style. Brimming with bright colors, sounds, and city energy, this new adventure makes working together and taking turns more fun than ever.

Lacks some of the verve and pizazz of the original (the rhythm is a bit wonky in spots) a solid sequel to the Little Blue Truck canon

Little Blue Truck gives big wisdom during a traffic jam and receives major praise for his efforts.

My 2 year old enjoyed this book. She loves anything that moves right now, and this story although about a little blue truck had many other kinds of vehicles, which kept her attention for the entire story! Our favorite bedtime book currently

My kids love their other Little Blue Truck book, was pleasantly surprised to find another. They both loved it.

My son and I loved the original "Little Blue Truck" so much that I ran to the library as soon as I heard about a sequel. Although it falls a bit short in terms of plot and rhythm, "Little Blue Truck Leads the Way" has the same endearing quality as the first and contains an important moral: slow down and take turns. The phenomenal, whimsical urban illustrations add to the book's charm and make it another winner for both kids and parents.
