A 17-year-old boy in Tehran finds his rooftop the perfect escape for taking in the night sky, smoking cigarettes and catching occasional glimpses of his beautiful neighbor. THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD STORY, BUT I COULDN'T GET PAST THE VOICE. JUST DOESN'T FIT.

This audio book is very well read. The story itself flows poetically and has a bit of everything. It is funny, sad, brutal and gripping. You are really brought into the life of the main character, Pashar. It is a great insight into the culture of Iran and great points about the family dynamic in western cultures. It is a book that stays with you.
