VERY GOOD 1943 musical comedy set in Barbary Coast/San Francisco as vaudeville moved west from New York, etc.
This is my second Alice Faye film who I just learned about from excellent move 'That Night In Rio' - also recommended and available from KCLS. She's terrific again. Also, this was my introduction to the talented John Payne. It's fun to learn about the evolution of things I enjoy from before I was born. Next up - 'Nob Hill' from 1945.
