The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls school that is, it would be if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses, but it s really a school for spies.

Cammie Morgan is a second-generation Gallagher Girl, and by her sophomore year she s already fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways (one of which involves a piece of uncooked spaghetti). But the one thing the Gallagher Academy hasn t prepared her for is what to do when she falls for a boy who thinks she s an ordinary girl.

Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, and track him through town without his ever being the wiser but can she have a relationship with a regular boy who can never know the truth about her?

Cammie may be an elite spy-in-training, but in her sophomore year, she s beginning her most dangerous mission falling in love.

I like this book because it sounds like it should be cheesy, which it sort of is, but it's not TOO bad. Ally Carter does need to work on narration, though, I agree. However, overall, the plot line is pretty entertaining and cute.

Really cute story about a girls boarding school that trains them to be spies, but these are still just teenage girls. Sweet and fun like Meg Cabot.

Agreed with previous comment too.
The begginning is poorly stuctured and you'll get bored. So read this you're one of those fast readers who can read multiple books in a day.

IF YOU STILL WANT TO READ IT, like give it a try, don't be afraid to skim or skip throught the begging 'cause if you're not such a fast reader believe me, you're gonna get bored. T.T

I have to agree with both previous comments, in that this is a delightful book... ruined by a bad narrator. Cami sounds like a precocious 6-year-old, not a high-school sophomore. Her friend's "southern" accent is a joke, and all the male characters sound like drag queens. About halfway through I finally got so I could just ignore it and enjoy the story, but really? They couldn't find anyone better?

The narrator completely destroyed the story... Read the book, don't listen to this self-conscious, over enunciating narrator talk about a spy school like she's speaking to very small, very hard of hearing children.

The book is a great fun read, though.
