It's raining cats and dogs! Good thing Rover is snuggled safe and dry inside his doghouse--until, one by one, a soggy menagerie of creatures shows up looking for a cozy place to sit out the storm. But who's the very unwelcome surprise visitor? Skunk, of course. Suddenly that doghouse isn't quite so crowded after all!

Great book to use for storytime. All about an old dog trying to sleep, but then it begins to rain and everyone wants in where Rover is resting. Beautifully illustrated with short sentences which makes reading it out loud easy.

A rainy day finds Rover snug in his doghouse. Friends come along looking for a warm, dry spot and Rover invites them in until his house is quite crowded. Just then skunk shows up and Rover's house isn't nearly as crowded anymore! Great repetition to get kids reading along and the surprise smelly ending will have them laughing!

A favourite of my 4 yr old son and myself. Fantastic rhyming text, and a fun story line that can be read over and over again.
