Lewis'&¬?s precise, distinctive brushwork echoes the highly stylized Native American totems and masks, and his use of color is arresting." -Publishers Weekly

My 5 year old son really enjoyed this adventure story; the telling of how a Native American girl helps save her village and teaches her people about the interconnectedness of animals and humans. Nicely illustrated and the story moves at a good pace.
