Unique in the way of delivering it's message.
Read it to our 3 and a half year old and although we got through it there is probably too many words for that age. He asked questions and I explained the concept but I feel it would be better for older kids, maybe around 5+.
Illustrations are colourful and even though you know what the ending will be you still feel that bit of "hook".

I read this book as a child and marveled at the generosity of the quiltmaker. Now, I read it as a teenager and marvel at the profound lifelong lesson contained within this enchanting children's book. I think I can undoubtedly say that this book changed my life. I hope it will change yours.
