Roger that on all the comments rating 4s and 5s below. I especially like Murray, their hapless manager (and minor New Zealand consular official). When you view scenes that take place in Murray's office, be sure to notice the New Zealand travel posters on the walls!

Idiotic. Half a star is too much.

This quirky HBO comedy series is one of my favorites. Two naïve musicians from New Zealand try to break into the music business and survive in New York City with only their equally clueless manager to guide them. There were only two seasons of this show. I would have given it five stars, but in each season there is just one or two episodes that felt flat to me; for the most part, it is outstanding and hilarious. Watch the series, and then listen to their albums!

very dry, very quirky, semi-autobiographical show about a Kiwi musical duo trying to make it in New York. They are frequently mistaken for Australians, have one obsessed fan, and often break into droll songs about robots and sex.

Absurd songs and often dry humour. Don't miss the full 14 minute youtube video of their charity song "Feel Inside and Stuff Like That". Fans of Flight of the Conchords might also like Testees, Black's Books or The IT Crowd.

There is barely anything to say with how hilarious this television show. The original song writing by the two main characters is gut wrenchingly, laugh-out-loud funny.

Funny, smart. Great for teens - my 14 year old son loved it, as did I!

Super entertaining and funny! The songs add a whole other level of humor to it as well and there are some pretty catchy tunes.

A pair of musicians from New Zealand try to hit it big in the Big Apple, only to learn that it's not as easy as they thought it would be. They go through countless misadventures, such as getting mugged, racist fruit vendors, and tripping on 1/16 of some acid.
