Having just graduated from college, Barry B. Benson finds himself disillusioned with the prospect of having only one career choice - honey. As he ventures outside of the hive for the first time, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of the bee world and talks to a human, a New York City florist named Vanessa. He is shocked to discover that the humans have been stealing and eating the bee's honey for centuries. He ultimately realizes that his true calling in life is to set the world right by suing the human race. That is until the ensuing chaos upsets the very balance of nature. It is up to Barry to prove that even a little bee can spell big changes in the world.

This movie centers around the story of a worker bee named Berry, who finally makes it out of the hive into the real world. It is after seeing the real world, however, that he learns the atrocities being done to bees and the way that the loss of bees is impacting the environment. He ends up teaming up with Vanessa, in order to sue the human race over the damages being done to the environment and ecosystem. This is a heartfelt film with many laughs, which also manages to cover serious topics in a way that children and families can appreciate and understand. I would rate this movie 4.5/5 stars and recommend it to people of all ages for its important morals and messages.

Bee Movie is about a bee named Barry who has just recently graduated and is now on the search for a job. When looking for a job, he finds most of them unappealing until he finds out about the Pollen Jockies, bees who go outside and are responsible for pollination. When on a mission outside, things go awry and Barry ends up meeting a human florist named Vanessa Bloome. This movie was funny and I think it would be a good movie to watch with family or friends. I give this movie a rating of 5/5 as I have rewatched this movie many times and I still enjoy watching it.

It was an interesting movie, to say the least. It didn't really have my sense of humour, but that is fine. I thought the character designs, at least for the bees, were pretty fun. The animation was spectacular. It, if I remember right, had some fun bonus features about learning about bees. It was a pretty fun movie.

This movie reminded me why I tend to prefer animated films from Japan. The quality of animation was fine enough, but good animation needs more than predictable puns (I like puns, but those were not clever) and the voices of a few rich actors to be successful from my perspective. I understand not everyone shares my taste (I tend to dislike the in-your-face cuteness and manic pace of animated films made in the US) . . . and thus these kind of animated films have an appreciative audience which does not include me.
