"Captivating...a real person comes through in its page...Lively, hellacious, entertaining, sharp, feisty, and touching." --Salon.com

How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, the mega-bestselling memoir, triumphant survival story, and cautionary tale that spent over six weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and rocketed adult film icon Jenna Jameson into the mainstream spotlight, is now in paperback for the very first time. Her unforgettable memoir is many things at once: a shocking sexual history; an insider's guide to the secret workings of the billion-dollar adult-film industry; and a gripping thriller that probes deep into Jameson's dark past. Interesting, compelling, and devastating. I found a lot of this book and her writing unbelievable. Unfortunately it was filled with a copious amount of “drug-a-logging” and every sort of other log you could keep in terms of horrific things you’ve done, or had done to you. In short, I’d say that if Miss Jameson was attempting to complete “step 4” in an anonymous program she pretty much covered all she would have needed within this account of her life. I give her props for using what she could to get where she did. She has built a huge empire and I would never fault someone for their success. If your curious about how the wild and crazy live, you’ll like this book. If you have a weak stomach it’s not for you.

An interesting autobiography but after awhile I couldnt take reading about her being victimized while she completely disregarded the fact that she was in fact being victimized. Also about 20% of the book is done in a chat format between her and her family which is an annoying way of writing and difficult to read/enjoy. I started out totally enthralled and by 3/4 the way through I finally started just skimming pages trying to make it to the end.

All in all an interesting read but she is obviously still in denial about many events in her life. There are better autobiograohies out there.

A very interesting, and sad, story. I felt a lot of pity for her by the time I was finished reading... I've never seen one of her films, and now that I've read her book I don't think I ever could.

FYI: This is an autobiography, not an instructional book on 'how to make love'.
