Excellent- His better-mousetrap idea was to compare the [3] longest- lived populations on earth for social and diet similarities, then present results.
What results? Hint: it ain't Atkins, or individualism. It's more Mediterranean diet and valuing the social.
Yes, mostly just common-sense, which isn't common, but i've never seen it all marshaled so engagingly and succinctly.
Here's a quote by an ancient Okinawan: "You have two doctors- your left and right legs."! :)

Just read it. Try "The Okinawa Diet Plan" and "The Brain Diet" too.
