This book definitely deserves its title as one of Agatha Christie's best mysteries. Using plot twists and suspicious characters, Agatha Christie created a unique mystery that kept me guessing until the very last page (until the epilogue). It is a unique book that is very nicely written, with many interesting additions such as the nursery rhyme, which tied the whole story together. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery and it definitely worth the read.

One of the best mysteries written, about ten people on an empty island who are murdered one by one.

Loved this well written, twisty mystery. And it has been made into equally interesting movies a couple of times.

I read this for a book club. I am not well read in the mystery genre. I can admit I am also easily frightened by horror so take this with a grain of salt. This book was creepy as hell and kept me guessing the whole time. I loved it.

For those who have read it already: I can't decide if it would have been better or worse without the epilogue...

This is a murder mystery by the worldwide famous author, Agatha Christie. The story sets as 10 people who are lured on a mysterious island. A announcement says they are guilty of murder. One by one, they die, haunted by a nursery rhyme that counts back one by one. Because it is an Agatha Christie novel, and at such a time period, be prepared for usage of mild language. Also, there is lots of shooting, blood, and violence. Most of the story is murder. Besides that, it has tons of educational value, but there are some bad chemicals used to murder, but it would suit teenager ages.

Enjoyed this old and interesting murder mystery read. The book was fast paced and difficult to keep up with all 10 characters (the writer did a good job of referencing their occupations which helped, but their stories were harder to remember). The writer does not directly reveal "who or whom done it", but you can look up multiple endings on the Internet or be creative on your own.

I had read this in elementary school with my whole class together and I was truly FASCINATED with the amazing plot and unique characters! All strangers were mysteriously invited to an island, in order to fulfill their various purposes upon arrival.

Continuous murders started to happen based on a poem, where everyone becomes a "suspect". It was very addicting, captivating, and suspenseful. However, the ending was very unexpected...

I would strongly recommend to read the book first, before watching the original black and white movie. That way, you can see the similarities and differences!

I thought it was hard to keep track of so many main characters

This was my first Christie novel and I can finally say I understand now why she is still so popular to this day. I loved every second of this book. The writing was succinct and it kept me guessing till the very end. I wanted to scream out "who did it!" as the story unfolded.

In this Christie classic, twelve strangers are lured to an isolated island mansion off the coast of Devon where a killer picks off the guests one by one. A quick and suspenseful read that is also a PBS Great American Read Top 100 Pick.
