This new release has much more substance than the cover communicates. I was impressed that there were actually two mysteries in the book and we got to the bottom of both within the span of the narrative. Drue was a bit rough around the edges, but she has had some tough breaks. The beach house itself is a substantial piece of the plot and if those walls could talk. . . Includes some scrumptious-looking recipes at the end and some tips on choosing your very own beach house. There were a couple of unsatisfactory plot holes for me, but I would definitely recommend this for a beach read.
