A crime story with fleeting actions, adventure or suspense but rich in ambience, character study of a unable-to-stop bank robber Forrest Tucker (Redford) and his relationship with Jewel (Spacek.) Suggest to watch the interview with the detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck) in special features and read the New Yorker story (link in "Summary") that this film was loosely based on -- published on Jan 27, 2003, 14 months before Tucker's death in prison (June 23, 1920 – May 29, 2004.)
