It's not often that the protagonist of a book you're reading is literally Hitler, and it's even less often that such a book manages to be so funny. Blitzball by Barton Ludwig is a newer book that examines racism and prejudice through the completely absurd lens of a teenage clone of Hitler, or Addie, living in suburbia. In the book Addie's life is thrown for a loop when after a prank on a rival school goes wrong Addie learns that maybe most of America isn't learning German or why certain people are superior to others in their school. The book is a hilarious read from beginning to end with most of it causing you to double take and ask yourself, is this really happening? And when you realize that it actually is happening all you can do is sit back and laugh.
