This would've been a useful book for me back when I started going to games regularly in 2000. 12 years later, I didn't learn much I didn't already know, though I'd never specifically noticed that catchers are almost exclusively right-handed, to name a subtle detail that was new to me.

One of the best baseball books I have ever read. If you have any questions about baseball, be sure to consult this book.
