This audio book was very boring ,the storie made very little sense, it feels like he did'nt care if you like the book or not. I did'nt like this book at all.

I am probably a minority, but I thought this book was BORING...never held my interest, characters were not compelling, story line was blah....this was my first John Sandford book...I hope his "Prey" series is better than this one.

The second half of this novel is much better than the first. This novel drags unnecessarily until Sanford provides some action after much early hocus-pocus boredom. In fact, I believe the novel would be better by doing away with the first 25% easily. Once Sanford finally gets into the action, the characters become people us readers want to care about. On another good note for audio listeners, you don't have to listen to the great Richard Ferone mispronounce 'Cretin.'
