Former Daily News gossip columnist Mitchell Fink uses painstaking research to describe the final days of 15 icons - including John Lennon, Tupac Shakur, John Belushi, Orson Welles and Lucille Ball. Working with an extraordinary level of access and the cooperation of his subjects' families, Fink tells of his subjects' physical, emotional, psychological, professional, and spiritual journeys to the end of their lives. Some violent, some peaceful - the deaths were as unique an distinctive as the lives, as Fink makes abundantly clear.
