Perfect 80s horror movie. The Coreys? Check! Kiefer Sutherland as an aloof (supernatural) villain? Check! Totally awesome soundtrack? Check!

"They're only noodles, Michael."

For any fan of Horror and/or vampire films, The Lost Boys is a must-see! Classic 80s music, clothing, atmosphere, this film is completely nostalgic of the time and all over a fun vampire film. The soundtrack is one of the best, and the one-liners in this are just awesome.

Overall and ok movie. The actors were great and the overall plot was really good. Suspenseful and creepy at times. However, there were some problems like how the problem was resolved so quickly and it was boring at times, also the scene didn’t need to be in there. Overall good for an old show. Interesting and funny at times.

It took a lot of persuasion of my best friend in high school to drag me to see this movie in the theater but since then I've seen it many times and each time I like it a little more. Great cast and really funny lines. Not a lot of gore https://johnnyfarinella.johnlscott.com/ anything scary but I wouldn't recommend it for kids at all. Definitely a classic movie and the soundtrack is amazing

The soundtrack alone is worth the 5 star rating.

Honestly, no vampire movie compares to this one. Watched it millions of times as a child and even more with age. Once I started driving I listened to the soundtrack in my car, which is just as awesome as the movie.

I was obsessed with this movie when I was younger I watched it a lot. I still love it today. Probably my favorite vampire movie with comedy.

I rewatched this movie so that my preteen child could watch it. It was awesome! I didn't realize how much humor this movie has even though it's a horror movie.

not only a great vampire movie...a great movie in general!!!

The original concept for this movie was : "What if Peter Pan was really a vampire, with a bunch of vampire Lost Boys?" Hand it to Joel Shumacher to give it an Arthouse bent... you get a teen vampire movie with a premise from the 50s, fashion from the 80s, and some of the coolest shots in horror cinema. The Frog brothers are hilarious. Kiefer Sutherland beats Edward Cullen out of any hot vampire contest. And if cranky Grandpa doesn't make you giggle, nothing will. I will love this movie forever! If you like horror and don't mind a bit of cheese, I bet you will too.

"It's the blood-sucking Brady Bunch!"

Edgar Frog: "I think I should warn you all, when a vampire bites it, it's never a pretty sight. No two bloodsuckers go the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode, but all will try to take you with them."
