Standout tracks: String Bean Jean, Put the Book Back on the Shelf, Slow Grafitti, Take Your Carriage Clock and Shove It, The Loneliness of a Middle Distance Runner...that’s not even half of them.

VERY GOOD 2005 compilation 2 CD collection of 25 cuts by talented Scots indie pop band led by Stuart Murdoch.
A fun listen - just like their 2015 'Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance' comp also available at KCLS.
Apparently the group name is taken from television adaptation of the French novel by Cecile Aubrey about a six year old boy and his pet dog Belle who live in French Alps.
