Leo isn't just a stuffed toy, he is Henry's best friend and brother. He is as real as a tree, a cloud, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the wind. But when the two are accidentally separated, no one in Henry's family believes Leo is real enough to find his way home.
With beautiful mixed-media paintings, the Caldecott Honor-winning artist Pamela Zagarenski explores the transcendent nature of friendship and love.

This book is so so beautiful! A Gustav Klimt palette. Images from a child's dreams. I love this book so much, but I can't figure out why Leo loses his crown after he leaves the woods? This and a few other small mysteries in the paintings makes me look at it again and again.

This is a lovely picture book that is partly narrated and partly wordless. The combination allows for great interaction with non-readers. It gives them a chance to tell part of the story!

Amazing illustrations that will catch both child and adults eye. New things to be seen with each read.

The story of how love makes things real (if you believe ... ). This beautifully illustrated book has several wordless pages so your little one can help in the story telling.
