I looked at some of the other reviews of this book and can't really say anything new. Great book, not as good as "American Gods", not favorite from Gaiman, but it is definitely recommendable, especially if you liked "American Gods". Good, funny, dark, and likable.

Can't say enough how much I love this novel. One thing Gaiman is really good at is hiding pretty deep stuff inside simplicity. The story itself is so clean and simple, but it still hits you with all kinds of good stuff to think about.

I do like how Fat Charlie starts to gain confidence as the story progresses, and how Spider starts to see the wrongs in his ways.

I also like how Neil Gaiman, used the Anansi as the trickster in this story.

This is a somewhat disappointing follow-up to American Gods. Then again, it's probably not easy to write a sequel to a masterpiece.

A wonderful sequel to American Gods that did not live up to the brilliance of its predecessor.

Definitely in the same universe as American Gods, but a bit more light and funny to read. This being a Neil Gaiman book, there are still dark parts to go along with the levity.

I loved the folklore and familial aspects of the story. Stories and songs have carried the histories and myths of humans since the beginning - and I like how he weaves that tradition into his story and illustrates it within the family. I love to hear those re-telling of tales passed on and on...keep it going...
