This book is a sweet story of a little lamb that was born young and therefore initially raised indoors. Not used to things outside the house, he is afraid of many ordinary things around the farm. His farm friends encourage him and give positive explanations to the things he fears (spider, frog, tractor, etc.). At the end, all the sheep try to climb a high mound of hay. The little lamb overcomes his fears enough to try it too. The pictures in this book are stunning. Children enjoy seeing the pictures of the real Little Finn at the end of the book. This book is best suited for children 5-8.
