Squirrel Girl is now the star of her own original graphic novel. It's a stand-alone adventure that's both great for new Squirrel Girl readers, and also for people whoalready know about how she can talk to squirrels and also punch really well! Behold: a story so huge it demanded a graphic novel! A story so nuts that it incorporates both senses of that word. Squirrel Girl has defeated Thanos, Galactus, and Doctor Doom. But now, she'll encounter her most dangerous, most powerful, most unbeatable enemy yet: herself.

MARVELous Women

I grew up watching superheroes in their 90s cartoon incarnations, so I’ve been familiar with a handful of female supers for as long as I can remember. That said, the overwhelming majority of superheroes in my orbit were men. Fortunately, the costumed do-gooder lineup has gotten much more diverse with every passing decade. I mean, it’s still pretty white and muscly, but hey, Rome wasn’t built… (more)

To be honest this was an annoying, terrible book, that wasn’t funny at all. Don’t recommend reading.

Wasted potential.

I love Squirrel Girl, and I was super excited about this graphic novel. But I have to admit that this is not Squirrel Girl at her best. If you're new to this heroine, start with the comic books--Doreen really shines there.

Not as good as the regular series. The series is ridiculous, yes, but in a cute way. This book went beyond cute and into annoying. It does, however, raise an important question - why would chipmunk hunk take the time to shove his tiny tail into his boxers before fleeing for his life (without his pants)? I mean, just where are his priorities???

I get that this character probably has her fans- really, I do get that. That said, this graphic novel expanded tale left me wanting to strangle the creative team. The story is obnoxious, irritating, and annoying on a level that makes the Ebola virus seem welcoming in comparison. A waste of time on every single level.

A worthy successor to WATCHMEN in its seriousness of purpose and the philosophical questions it raises.

In this title, Squirrel Girl gets accidentally cloned (as you do) and must battle herself! But how can she beat the girl who once defeated Galactus and Doctor Doom? Super fun, sort of pokes fun at other clone-related "fight yourself" stories. A great read!

Instant classic, with some subtle insights, including on the fine line between some heroes and villains, and - this being the part-squirrel Squirrel Girl - animal rights.

"Doreen [Squirrel Girl], my top three favorite activities are fighting crime, helping you fight crime, and helping you help me fight some friggin' crimes."--Tippy-Toe

"...the world would be an objectively better place if squirrels were in charge."

"Except now your squirrel's shortened life span is _exactly_ the same, because we stuffed those cities full of cars -- giant death boxes on wheels that are _designed_ to roll over small animals like this and just keep going! ... After all, it's just a _squirrel_, right?"
